2-11-19 Chiang Mai-Mae Wang-Samoeng Loop Is Now Finally Fully Paved

Off along the 4016 and its been a few years since I last tried todays loop, I was interested to see if it had been paved completely to the 1349 by now

At Ban Huai Tong I go to the Huai Thong reservoir

Its getting a bit overcast here with a lot lower temperature as I ascend to over 1000 metres

The road is now completely paved and makes a good days ride loop from Chiang Mai

Back in Samoeng I ride to the reservoir at the hydropower plant, it was also as good as completely full

These traditional English houses were very noticeable out here and I dont remember seeing them before
