Total distance 12 km

I wonder if this number plate is worth more than the bike is

A lovely old Honda XL 125

A rather dilapidated looking house in town

Just past the burnt down museum the Mae Sariang river can be walked over without getting wet feet now its low water

Once over the river I encounter this guy sorting his crops out

Now to walk what I should be riding, unmapped offroad tracks

Loading up the sand scooped out of the irrigation canal

Lots of fruit on the trees along here

This track follows the irrigation canal in both directions, I can explore the other direction tomorrow

No goodies put here for Buddah

More people scooping the sand out

One track goes to the river

He has probably got the best idea

I never even knew this weir existed as you dont see it from the road

About 50 metres off the 108

There is a cave behind the statue but there is a locked gate to prevent entry

My usual khao soi place is closed for a few days, I try another one opposite but I wont be returning as its nowhere near as nice food

I walk along and map this single track in town

Lots of these old vehicles around today, all with Saigon on the number plates

I carried the GPS today and while it mapped the track and showed me how fast I was walking plus heights it didnt record my distance travelled properly.
It shows me as walking 190 metres whereas I estimate about 8 km today
