Taking the 1211 out of Chiang Rai to avoid using H1
It brings me to the 118 where this overturned truck has caused a tail back, it worked out fine for me as I got to the front and there were a couple of lorries there so it took a few km before any cars overtook them and caught me up
Now enjoying the 109
This fun twisty road doesnt get many mentions but is very good
A large village out there
A bit further on and I can see another village
A quick ride on the 107 to Chai Prakarn where I take the 1346 to Phrao
A few fields were alight along here
Another fun twisty road
Plenty of time today to take what in my opinion is the most scenic and fun route between Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai
At Phrao its the 1001
Then its the 4034 canal road
Back in town and one of the many cats at my GH quickly makes itself comfortable on my bike
Chicken Tikka with a garlic Naan at Indish which was really delicious for 195 Baht
