Whats left of Doi Tao Lake and westwards link to Omkoi

There's been some threads recently on how Doi Tao has disappeared. From google earth, you can see the remains of the Ping River in the area of Doi Tao lake.

It looks like trucks might be collecting sand there for construction and are crossing the river.

The Huai Mae Lai riverbed shows up well in Google Earth. If it is ride-able in dry season might make a fun link westwards to the Omkoi area.

Remember i was in Dez. at Doi Tao Lake , or whats left of it .

If its all dry like this and sand should be possible to get close to the 1099
