We had a British guy stop by 2 a weeks ago who had just rented a Fino to ride to Pai. We told him to be careful.
Halfway to Pai, a silver minibus overtook him, then another silver minibus immediately appeared from the other direction. The one on his side swerved hard left, knocked him off, under the barrier he went, 17 stitches in his left arm, 4,000 bht damage to the new Fino.
He spent the last 4 days of his holiday here going to the the hospital to clean and change dressings.

If you're on a bike slower than traffic, be extra careful when being overtaken especially on the road to Pai. Try and limit the time the overtaking vehicle is on the outside of you, braking when he overtakes will help reduce the time.

Greetings. Very happy to see this forum up and running.

This will likely be a welcome alternative to the other Thailand rider forums.

Careful - let's keep it clean out here or it'll be off to "disagreements"
