When I was there in November they had a sign saying that foreign visitors could only enter the Temple if they had a Thai guide.

Did you notice if the sign is still there sign Phil?
 
Wonderful photos of Wat Rong Khun Phil. I was showing them to the group this morning, each photo stretched to full screen, and each picture was met with universal Ohhhh's and Ahhhh's. Worthy of framing.

Enjoyed your GT ride report also, it is a treat been introduced to so many new spots on a familiar loop....and I haven't ever tried duck soup.

I like the entrance bridge over purgatory (narok) entrance too..

It is a visually impressive setup.. The wishing well fish place grotto to one side too.
