Mityon pattaya now stock NEW vespas but they are expensive as they come from Italy. 125-300cc

170,000-385,000 baht

Now that is a lot of money!!!

I have heard from various reliable sources that Ducati are starting production here in Thailand, apparently they have already appointed the general manager and they have purchased/leased land in an industrial estate for their factory.

Further to the sources they are looking at a price of around 300'000 Baht for their lowest priced model -maybe a serious competitor to Kawasaki.

Yes it was announced in the Italien financial press they hope to open the factory in late 2012,if they do sell at 300-400k baht it will kill triumphs sales unless triumph renegotiate their BOI deal so they can sell bikes made in thailand import free.

ducati already sell three times as many bikes as triumphin thailand.
