VENEZUELA - Doe's any one have experience of riding there ?

Hi Guy's,
I'm trying to find some where a bit different to go for a ride for about 4 weeks or so . Last year I did Northern Vietnam & was helped by people on this site & it made a big difference. Thinking this year that perhaps South America & in particular "Venezuela" but I cannot seem to find much at all about riding there. Thinking of possibly / likely renting a Trail bike there if possible as it would be more versatile & gives me a wider spectrum. I'd really appreciate any input from people that have had some experience in riding there. I hope to hear from you & THANK YOU . Johny Brando . 18/03/2017

It's an easy place to get robbed, i'd be really careful venturing there on your own.
 
Thanks Phil , yeh ....I've just found bit more on it & it says exactly just what you have said & hiring a bike there thats not come out of India too is almost impossible with crap back up to boot ...i.e. parts !. Seem Columbia is easier all round but I think thats quite dangerous too & I know bike hire there is more available but very expensive ! Cheers.
