Somerset Levels And Cheddar Gorge UK

Another white horse which I think was in Wiltshire



After visiting Glastonbury Tor the next days ride was further west into Somerset



This area was under water for a fair while last year during the floods.

The start of the gorge and what a nice ride through it too.
I had a Monday off so rode here then, avoiding the madness of a sunday ride through here













I explored a few different roads around here finding some nice narrow ones

Somerset yesterday.. The village where I grew up, shwing the old lady the local swimming hole and practising a bit of scrumping.. Stolen fruit tastes all the sweeter

Google did a pretty neat auto awesome jobber on a phone snap.

West lydford.. Went and had a look at the house I grew up in and the area.. All seemed very small..

Small world Sefton, I rode within about two miles of there today when I took the B3153 from Somerton to Castle Cary, it was an enjoyable 262 mile/420 km ride on a hot day

yeap.. all around that area was growing up localle.. IF the sun shines its pretty special.. Shame its such a rarity..

N Devon now, also very scenic.. Will hop on over to the republic of ireland this week too.. Ring of Kerry and Cork usually doesnt disappoint. If climate was different would spend a lot more time back here.. Got some ideas in my head on the subject already.
