Seemed to be a publicity stunt. There was an Army photographer taking shots. They were gone 10 minutes later.

I saw a coupla soldiers earlier.
Now I cant get on thaivisa or facebook, nor google. bbc etc, dont have a telly either, so good to know what's going on
 
My brother in law is a soldier now in Bangkok, they have been told they are not allowed to use telephones and are not allowed to message.
 
I've still got outside contact. FB. Etc

I see the army choppers are out clocking up some hours
 
No Ian, I can get to some sites but no news sites,except redtube news on this Triple T(??) wifi
 
TV off and reports of curfew from 10pm to 5am, some saying countrywide others saying only major cities, just been to local 7-eleven and no signs of any troops on the streets although there has certainly been increased military aircraft to and from the bases near me the last few days, internet still seems fine though.
