R 107 / R 121 underpass open after 2 years of construction

That nasty bottleneck north of Chiang Mai towards Mae Rim on R 107 is finally over. After 2 years of a dusty mess (ask Joe's Bike Team) the R 107 / R 121 underpass is finally open.

No traffic jams around there at all now

Was up there today. While the underpass may be open, there are still some restrictions on the connectors.

Coming up the Canal Road, you cannot go straight across or head south on the 107. You have to head north and U-turn.

Coming from Joe's, you can go straight across to the Canal Road, but cannot turn left and head south on the 107.

Maybe someday...
