Dont stay at the Mekhong Riverside. I did this week and the Indian owner now charges 375000 kip with a balcony and the downstairs no balcony 250000 kip. They are noisy, and the hot water did not work.

Bloody hell that's a rip off, but i guess the tourist's will pay for the view.

Yes, the owner is a bit of an over-charger but 375000 Kip (about 1500 Baht) is way over the top for what you get.
