Oruxmaps equivalent on an iPad ??

What suggestions do people have for an iOS app that can be used with garmin format maps offline ??

More looking for the route planning ability than the turn by turn routing.

Also entertain maps that can offline store OSM data.

The creation and export of Garmin routes would be killer but I thin we established that was a tough one from iOS.

Take a look at maps.me i use this on my android but works on OS, i think its compatable with OSM too.

OK that looks good for KML/ KMZ imports and exports.. Will try it and see what its like for mapsets.

Check for a Garmin App that will run .img files, surely they will have one by now?

Get a Microsoft Surface Pro & stop pulling your hair out!

Actually trying to help out someone else whose planning a Thai / Laos road trip..

Secondly no desire for a surface at all.. If anything it would be another android tablet.. Sony Z with the keyboard option looks kinda trick.
