"
So the Kawasaki Ninja 300 feels a larger-capacity motorcycle than it actually is, an impression accentuated by gains in refinement. "

Seems some 300's in the USA & Canada are also being recalled for ECU problems that cause the engine to stall during deceleration.

I bought a 2013 250 in December 2012
I was a little peeved to now hear 7 months later the 300 is in fact here.
Reason being when I bought it I specifically wrote to Real in Bangkok & Kawasaki Thailand.
Both replied....Oh no you may as well buy the 250 because the 300 will not come to Thailand for at least
2 more years. Now 7 months later :RE

A little bummed but not too much as I really dislike ABS in general & more so on a small sport bike like this.
At least the KTM is dual channel & you can switch it off if you like. Although all the extra hoses are still there to rob feel IMHO

Also I notice the compression ratio as well as the bore to stroke ratio has dropped on the 300.
Still I think for someone who has not bought yet the 20k extra baht is a pretty good deal for the inclusion
of the slipper clutch & the extra 6-8 hp
