The new budget version of the S 1000 XR - The S 1000 R, only 635,000 Bht new registered in Thailand. Havnt had time to go through how much of a budget version it is, but seems a real bargain?

It's still listed at 830K on the BMW Thailand site (the S1KRR is listed at 1.05m while it's 820K on the list above, while the S1000XR is listed at the correct price and it's around the same price new as the S1KRR)- where did you find that price list?

It's the disparity between the S1000XR and S1000RR (which should be within ~100K of each other) that leads me to think the price list above is incorrect for some models, unless it's some sort of promo, in which case those prices are great for LOS.

It came up in my FB feed as well, so I'm not sure- they're serious cuts on a bike BMW has no problem selling at full pop.

OK- I looked into it a bit- apparently BMW is adding the S1000R and S1000RR to their LOS manufacturing plant, so the price is dropping a lot. Wow- this is going to kill the sales of Japanese literbikes (like the GSXR1000R, which goes for about 800K and isn't nearly as much of a performer).

We're going to see a load of these bikes on local roads.

Watch the Thailand Ducati Multistrada pricing now......

Something still not looking right about the S1000R down payment price. Sloppy typo to miss the 1 from 158,750...
