An earlyish start and its the 101 for 100 km then a right onto the 103 which takes me to hwy 1 where I turn left and ride for 1 or 2 km then a right onto the 1005.
I am happy to be off the boring 103 and now stop for a couple of photos

No complaints about the scenery out here

I reach a paved road and follow it for a while until N18.45.523 E099.54.410 where I turn left to ride this rutted dirt track to my destination

Now back towards the asphalt

DSCF9921.jpg

Upon getting back to asphalt at my waypoint I turn left and stay on asphalt back to hwy 1 riding along the 1013
DSCF9923.jpg

I stop in Ngao for refreshments then its the 1154 and along here the Yom river has a good fast flow
DSCF9924.jpg

Sometimes the 1154 is covered in loose gravel, today there was none of this but lots of teak leaves instead, not that they presented any problem

A call in at the Mae Song reservoir on the way back and a lot more water in here than last decembers trip

Very nice Colin, glad the lens cleaned up ok.

The track to the remote blue lake was certainly worth pursuing, you are surely not going to never return to such a beautiful spot. Made me feel like getting a tent & travelling up there immediately !

Please pass on my respects to Kh Areewan.
