The route 101, 3171, 1026. 4010, 1342, 1024, 1343, 1218, 1134,
Total distance 277 km
I take the 101 to Wiang Sa then the 1026 to Na Muen and now to ride the 4010
Some shots from along the 4010
My first ride along here was a year ago and it turned into a horrible wet day, its so much nicer out here today
I take a dirt track to look for the Huai Nam Fueang reservoir
Well that track turned into a dead end, its a locked gate and the track stops
I can just see the 4010 through the trees
I take a different fork on the track to find this elusive water
At last I can see it down below
Time to ride back to the paved surface, this dirt track is dry out here in the sun
But where the sun isnt on it the surface is still wet and slippery
Break time for the workers
Now off on another dirt track to find another small unknown reservoir
Just short of full capacity
I stop along the 1343 and these dogs soon come rushing up to me with their tails wagging non stop
The toilet at the dogs home appears to be missing a roof
Time to say goodbye to my new friends
I tried to ride to the overflow of the Huai Mae Tek reservoir but there was barbed wire across the track leading to it and I could only get to the other end of it, despite scouting around along a few tracks I could not find an entry point
Along the 1134 I stop at the Ban Mai Chat San reservoir
Well down from the overflow
This lad was happy with his Lifan that said Honda 70 on the side
It wouldnt be a good idea to take that down dusty tracks
A tasty salami pizza at the Nan Steakhouse for 200 Baht
