This logging truck ruined his radiator pushing through the deep river.

I bunk down with these guys and get info on the road ahead.

Great pictures as usual MM. Had a good laugh about the bust radiator. Has n't happen to me yet but keep my fingers crossed as most of the time I am too lazy to loosen the fanbelt when I encounter long and deep river crossings.

Lovely pics as is the custom from you.

I'll check in with Charly when i hit LPB.

Waiting patiently for my bike to get running to head up there in the next day or so. Was thinking of doing the run from LPQ - boat at Pak Ou to the road that takes you north to Nga - and comes out in Oudom Xai. You think the bottom half from once off the boat north to the major river crossing is doable?

Justin,

Just back from a roudy North trip, sorry to cut it short, but,... bare brake pads, tires, chains, sprockets need replaced, and well*** that kid on a scooter that took me out!

Destroying my right rear panyer and brackets left me with some sore ribs, and scurry-ing around the rice paddys when all my gear went flying in the bushes!

Send a PM with your itinerary, we can meet up. I am outa here as soon as I can, cause nothing beats the life on the road!
