Motorcycle pants ease of on/off

Came across the following vid showing how easy it is to put on/remove motorcycle pants with full length leg zippers.

Motorcycle pants are easy

Pants in the vid are Olympia Airglide 3's which use 500 denier Cordura in the non mesh areas.

For street use I would prefer thicker Cordura, otherwise the design concept looks pretty good for this region.

Is it just me, or do these full length zipper pants take much longer to put on and take off than my 'normal' motorcycle troos?
Solution looking for a problem methinks.

The idea behind the full length leg zippers is to make it easier to don/take-off the pants with boots on.

eg, standing on the side of the road to don the waterproof layer.
