Following speculation about whether round 4 of the Motorcycle Mag championships will be held at Bira International Circuit on 19-20 November, the organiser, GPI Motorsport, has confirmed the event's postponement until 24-25 December.
With teams testing today in perfect conditions at the Chonburi track, a spokesperson for GPI explained, "We decided to postpone because it's very hard to liaise things if most of the roads are closed because of flooding and everything is very limited. We apologize for this. Fortunately, the event will be back again next month."
By contrast, FMSCT confirmed yesterday that the final round of the Thailand Supercross Championships will go ahead as scheduled on 19-20 November at Makham Mai, Chantaburi.

When pressed their Facebook page on whether it was in effect a cancellation, as round five had been scheduled for the same date, GPI said they would get back to us on that one.
Luke suggested running both rounds over the same weekend, so we will wait to hear about that too...
