Honda unveils new Forza 125 scooter - Motorcycle news: New bikes - Visordown

"The Forza 125 makes 14hp, does a claimed 123mpg and comes with ABS as standard."

(Visordown)

Strange how Honda operate, this looks like a PCX killer to me :umm:

This is a good-looking economic scooter! If it's lighter than the PCX 150, which is listed with 13hp, this should be a fun bike!

It actually looks a lot like an "edgier" PCX. It even has a bigger front wheel than the PCX.

Bring it on, if it's priced right I'll buy one to get around on - the Nouvo 135 is getting old!

I waited long enough for Yamaha to bring a Nouvo 150 FI.

About time they started employing 4 valve heads on their scooters but will up the price a little.

I reckon it's going to be selling for around 100K and become the rich man's PCX.

^ At that price its competition would be the SH150i scooter.

You get a bike with a watercooled 18hp 150cc DOHC 4-valve engine for 82,000 baht - Honda's own CBR150R.

I really don't understand how the 125cc Forza can weigh 162kg with ABS - the same as the Burgman 200! Both have 11L tanks.
The old Nouvo 135 weighs around 105kg, the PCX125 is 120kg, the PCX150 is 125kg, so it couldn't be the CVT.
Yamaha's upcoming SMAX with a 155cc 4 valve engine weighs 148kg, which is a bit of a porker, too. My CRF250M weighs a bit less than that.
Heck, a CBR250R with ABS weighs not much more at 167kg and the CBR150R is 24kg lighter!
What makes a 125cc scooter that heavy?

I like the looks and the technology but the weight is a deal breaker!

It's probably going to be quite expensive.

I just picked up a clean Nouvo 135 with 15,000 km on the clock for 20,000 baht - that'll be my scoot for the next couple of years. :)
