Took BB down the 108 to Chom Thong, turned right in town & headed for Mae Ya Waterfall, entered the National Park (said that I was a friend of Phil's & they waved me through ;) ) and then at the end of the road, enjoyed a walk up to the waterfall in full flow.

These folks work hard for a living

Anyone who has tried to capture butterflies close up without a zoom will appreciate just how busy these guys can be.

It's a water crossing

The reason I add this photo is to simply show a bit of local art.

Where was this painted Ally? I've not seen this before.

The waterfall wasn't too fierce, surprising.

Thanks for posting the information and the very nice pictures - did not know about the Mae Ya Waterfall so might be heading into that direction sometime in the not so distant future.

I thought the water flow would be greater there right now

That waterfall looks wonderful Ally; care to share the co-ordinates?
Oh, is that a front guard extension you now have on BB?

The waterfall is here: N18.43922 E98.60006 west of Chom Thong of Rd 108. Actually I have been there but that was some 15 years ago. Unfortunately, this morning I was a bit late/early as I had been working on my maps and I could not see nor think clear anymore and therefore thought it was a new waterfall.
