The Route 105
Total Distance 244 km
A hazy start to the day as I leave Mae Sot
At the refugee camp and the cliff is barely visible, at this rate it will be pitch black before I get to Mae Sariang
I am parked up taking a breather and a drink when the ant egg harvester walks past, I was dreading him spilling loads of the red ants where I was standing but thankfully he didnt
At a village there was something going on and this balloon was let off, it will very soon be swallowed by the haze
Theres been a lot of burning since I rode down along this road three weeks ago today and surprisingly the haze is getting a lot better now
Riding alongside the Moei
This is one of the Thai rivers about to empty into the Moei and still a reasonable flow of water today in all the rivers I cross
The same picture from three weeks ago
The Moei today
Three weeks ago
Lots of fires today both roadside and up in the hills
A lot clearer here though
I get past the road works and back onto the bumpy old section, this should be a lot wider and smoother next time I ride along here
I ride in to Mae Sariang and check in at the Riverside Guest House
A moo kata tonight for 108 Baht
