Mae Sariang To CNX On A Refreshing Morning

Total Distance 259 km

After 16 nights in Mae Sariang exploring some great new tracks it was time to move on.
It was a hot sticky morning there but after about 15 km going towards Hot the temperature quickly cooled off and the air was a lot fresher, about 5 km later I found out why.
There were puddles from some heavy rain last night and this was all over the mountains back towards the 108 at Chom Thong

All the fires were completely out and only the odd bit of smoke from a still smouldering tree, it was a lovely refreshing ride back to Chiang Mai

On the 1192 and those pine needles on the side of the road were all soaking wet underneath

A quick stop at the Wachirathan waterfall

Further downstream, once back on the 108 it was a hot sticky ride to Chiang Mai.
Today was my 56th consecutive day of riding and posting a trip report and now I am going to take a day or twos rest as I am totally knackered, then its off for another short trip to Nan before I go home at the end of the month
