Nam who owned the "Lab Lung Air" restaurant has moved. His new restaurant is called "Boom Nam", 2km west of his old location.

Luckily we were able to track down his new set-up at co-ords (on R 1149):

Haven't you mixed up the coordinates? Plotted the new location in the map but got at the same place where he was before in Rd 1290

Boon Nam restaurant has move again, he's now 50 meters away from the above location around the corner. Great food really worth trying, pork steaks in pepper gravy are superb and cheap.

I have found the Top North Hotel on the main drag in does a good breakfast but nice to see some where new, for those who live further away than MaeChan and only rarely visit M/S try this for parking ( car or bike ) . Go forward as if crossing over the bridge into Myanmar but bare left at the bridge follow the road through the covered market keep going and there is loads of room to park and even stroll along by the river. A good Capp. is available at a little resaurant , all very quiet and you don't pay for any carparks. Great when Pim goes over the border on a revenue run. ( Southern Comfort 370B )

In Mae Sai, a Chinese/ Yunnan restaurant that is supposed to be superb. Reed takes his tour group customers there and they all love it, I will try this for sure next time I'm in Mae Sai. They "may" have moved locations in Mae Sai recently, best to check the location with the phone number.

The food was outstanding, Mae Sai isn't an easy place to get quality food.

It is a very good place and I go there on visa/90 day report runs. His menu contains over a hundred items but all in Thai. However the boss will tell you in English what he has got if you need any ideas. There is also a coffee shop on the corner which does a superb Cappuccino for 30B.
