Air con/fan rooms, TV, WiFi, SOFT beds, refrigerator, elevator AND A BATH TUB!
450 baht. (the rooms with a bathtub cost extra)
Recommend.

Rooms from 250 baht (fan) up to 700 baht. Clean, safe parking and good value for money. Run buy a friendly and helpful english guy. Even the cheapest 250 baht fan room had a water boiler and tea/coffee for free in the room. Breakfast avsilable for 100 baht, coin operated laundry machines. Hot water showers too. Less than 5 minute ride or 15 minutes walk into town center with restaurants, bars and coffee shops.

The Stay Guesthouse in Loei. English managed guesthouse, very good value for money, conveniantly situated 2-3 kms from Loei town center. 275 baht for fan rooms and 399 for cheapest airconrooms.

Maybe one of the cheapest hotels to be found in Thailand at 290 baht a night for twin or double rooms, it is actually part of the same building as the Muanmanee Hotel and owned by the same family. No english advertising to be found and not available from any online booking sites, good clean comfortable accommodation with secure motorcycle parking at the rear.

Thanks for the updates, the MT is a great place the rooms on the ground floor can be a little musty though.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention the musty smell. I turned the fan and the a/c on washed the clothes and by the time I’d hung them out to dry the smell had gone. I am thinking about travelling with incense again like I used to do in India.
