RideAsia is essentially a motorbike site, but to continue Marco's idea there are some wierd bike names too.

I was a bit worried when a friend recently bought a Suzuki SMASH ! ;)

http://www.ftsmarsec.com/HomePage.html --> 404 (Page Not Found) Error -- you need to fix that maybe?

Off topic, I hope you are doing good and well if you help secure cargo ships going through the Suez Canal--I hear business is booming for anti-piracy people and so far no ship with an anti-piracy security person on-board has been hijacked (apparently the pirates seek easier prey if they sense danger).

Hey Marco,

I figured out what the problem is: your URL is incorrect.

Replace: "http://www.ftsmarsec.com/HomePage.html" in your signature line with -- http://www.ftsmarsec.com/ --

Now it will work.

I like the menacing military ship on your home page, attached below, it looks experimental almost? I wonder if anybody makes such ships, but I'd hate to see one coming after me if I only had a RPG and AK-47 in a wooden dhow! That would be the time to ditch your weapons overboard and pretend to be a fisherman.

BTW, off-topic, I don't know what the law is the open sea, but in the USA at least in certain states if a "Good Samaritan" rescues somebody, say a doctor rescues a victim of an accident, and treats them with first aid, the doctor can collect a reasonable fee for their services. This encourages rescues. On the open sea that would mean if you save somebody from a pirate, even if they are not a client, you can collect some reward from them. However I doubt that international law allows that, as it would be hard to collect, but it should be made the law IMO, so that you can have private security firms roaming the seas providing security.

Thanks Marco! Interesting that there is "pirate security" too (rogue security) doing arms smuggling no doubt. Change your signature line...don't forget! Bye.

The 'Smash'was (and still is) an unfortunate name for a scooter .. but the Tena is perhaps slightly worse .. Tena in Europe being a personal product to deal with incontinence .. I also wonder about the meeting between the US Marketing guru's and the Toyota design team back in the 1970's ... ''We have a new sports car, a car to rival the Ford Mustang, we need a good name''.. ''what about the Toyota Stalllion?'' ... ''Ah yes, Starion, we like that''
