I was looking for a similar coffee maker, one which can be used with fresh beans.

There is Handpresso (~4.000 baht) and Wacaco (~1.600 baht) but I wanted to try the system first, to see if I liked the result.

The result is good, not a real espresso but good enough for a fresh smelling, good cup of coffee.
It's not heavy but you will need a little pocket coffee grinder to go with it, or bring pre ground coffee.

I will use it mainly on my China trips, so I can avoid the hotel's boiling black water and/or the 3 in 1's......
