Vientiane Race Circuit - V R C -now open

The nation’s first motorcycle racetrack opened last weekend to the delight of motorsport fans offering riders of different ages the chance to test their skills on the circuit in Naxaithong district, Vientiane. Vientiane Racing Circuit (VRC) aims to encourage young motorcyclists to be professional riders of the future. While there are several local businesses backing teams participating in numerous regional races they have so far had to rely on foreign riders. The owner of VRC, Mr Bounyadeth Xaysongkham, said they arranged the weekend’s event to test the racetrack but not to race.
