Nice rumors of a 250 - 400 sized plant in the 200 mid size frame have been going around since the 200 became real..

45hp out of a small nimble frame make for a nice package.

The 390 Duke Will Be Coming To The US! | Hell for Leather Hell for Leather

KTM will be releasing the 390 Duke for the US market for the 2014 model year, Stefan Pierer confirmed in an interview with the Indian daily Business Standard. The 390 Duke is manufactured at a plant in Chakan, India by Bajaj. This will be KTM's first low capacity naked bike in the US and they except to sell around 10,000 units between here and Europe.

The KTM 390 Duke is a 373cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke naked bike that has 44 horsepower and 26 foot pounds of torque and is a blast to ride at 306 pounds (dry).
Stefan Pierer says "It is a strategic decision with Bajaj to go for sporty, stylish motorcycles, even for the saturated markets, because cars have become too expensive. We are entering the US street-bike segment for the first time and beginning next year, the Duke 390, built in India, would be sold in the US market."

Still no word on a dollar price. 5,000 Euro appears to be the going rate across much of Europe, which translates $6,700, but pricing is affected by a multitude of factors beyond simple exchange rates.

Expect to see the 390 Duke in dealerships sometime next year.

Sounds like a killer package.
