Baan Samui Resort - Chaweng Beach
August/ September, when it's really wet in north Thailand, might be a fun place to go dirt riding. Gordie did it on his WR 450 f a while back said it was well worth it.
Baan Samui Resort is superbly run, right on the beach, great pool, center of town (opposite McDonald's which is normally as central as you can get) & fabulous breakfast's.
