Illegal to be in the company of a Laos lady after 10pm

I can't find this Laos law in English but I'm told by people that have "experienced" the enforcement of this law, that it's illegal to be in the company of a Laos lady, in Laos after 10pm. From westerners that have been caught in violation of this law, the Laos police initially start off asking for a USD$ 5,000 fine , yes USD $ 5,000. After lots of negotiation, its normally reduced to USD$ 500 on the spot fine.


There's been lots of situations of set-ups, be wise, serious.
