This terrible story from 'TheThaiger' has got me thinking of how a tragedy like this can be avoided.
The accident wasn't in a remote location but the rider and bike were hidden from view.
He may have been rendered unconscious, maybe not.
If a solo rider is trapped under a bike in an isolated location how can the rider extricate himself/herself?
We have probably all had a leg or foot trapped under a bike and have been unable to remove the bike without assistance from friends.
I surely have!
But what if there are no friends?
