Hey guys what are the chances of finding a nice Honda AX1??, I know there old but so am I :D

Chris - there was one for sale here about 6 weeks ago that sold in a week.

I think Joe at Joe's bike team has one that he rents out & Dang bike rentals on the west side of the moat north of Starbucks had a couple of them too, but for sale, none that i know of.
 
Any idea how much it went for Phil....

Plenty of time, perhaps some thing will turn up..

Dang bike rentals in Chang Mai has a couple of AX1's, you could approach him when you get here and see if he'll sell one?

Thanks phil, not really sure what to to do, the sister inlaw went down to the Lefan shop yesterday, just waiting to from her??????????
 
Why don't you chase down the 90k bike? If you can knock him down 10-15k that's a pretty decent price for a plated 250 in Thailand especially if it's been white-person maintained.
 
For 50,000 bht plated, the Honda AX1 would be a great touring bike for Asia. Joe from Joes bike team, Chiang Mai took his to Vietnam 2 years ago with no issues at all.

50 or 60k ok sure.. Maybe in a rare moment of madness a super clean one thats been maintained by someone who wanted to take care of it and no mod-i-fi bodges perhaps 70 but thats over the odds IMO..

Any more than that and you would be crazy not to step up to klx / d-tracker, you will save the price difference in any spare part you need and service simplicity..
 
Alex Uk just picked up an immaculate Kaw KLX 250 with 5,000km on it from the Kaw dealer in Chiang Mai for not much more than those numbers, was a bargain.

I'm selling my KLX250, will be interesting only if you do some proper off road cause I modified a lot (give original parts away as well). Though I have a friend interested already if he doesn't take it I'll post it on the forum.
