Hello to all on RideAsia, I am now to this forum so I thought I would introduce myself. I am often called BigAl which is my user name but as I am only about 5'6" tall now the surgeons have hacked a bit off my legs you can guess (correctly) that the Big bit does not come from my height and before you think it, it is not that either! I simply have a larger than normal gut for my height picture friar Tuk on a scooter and you will get the idea.
I live in ChiangMai and for many years I let my heart rule my head in biking terms owning a Harley Sporster and then a Harley Softail. This year however I had one of those "lets be sensible" moments as the effects of the inept handling of the UK economy and the fact the £ is worth bugger all now dawned on me. So I have, for at least the time being, gone twist and go, to a bike, well OK scooter, 1/10th of the engine cc of my Harley.
Will I enjoy the change? Well time will tell and I will also tell you by posting the experience.
Happy riding folks,
BigAl
