New One Stop Center for citizen complaints opens at City Hall
"The new One Stop Center for citizens to obtain legal advice as well as file complaints in regards to corruption and other complaints against the police, land department and other governmental offices was opened by Chiang Mai Governor Suriya Prasatbuntitya on the 1st floor of the City Hall on July 30, 2014. The new Center was set up following a command from the NCPO to improve the effectiveness of the government in serving the citizenry. The new Center will provide legal advice on laws, allow citizens to pay their car and motorcycle registration, report corruption and file complaints against government officials not fulfilling their duties. All complaints filed with the new center will go directly to the Governor for review." (Chiang Mai Mail)
