Yes that was one big fuck of snake that was sitting in the road and I think it was a king Cobra lol

The Next pictures are from the west of Beijing, for an area being so close to a very large city I found some great roads to ride.

One of the most interesting parts of China that I have ridden is the Border road between China / North Korea.
From Dandong in the south to the north town of Tumen.
And just east of Tumen you have Russia, China, North Korea meets.
Five years ago when I first rode the border road, apart from a very place did you see
fences between China and NK.
But last year when I rode from North to South I found on the Chinese side small but some fences have been erected.
But out of the 1200 km of the border no more then 50km had fences.
Unlike 5 years ago now mainly on the top bit (That were Mr Rocket man has his toys)
You have many Amry checkpoints and on 4 occasions I was stop searched video interviewed and turn away.
That doesn't stop us riders we just find a bypass route around stuff like this.
By the 4th time, I got stopped the Army guys were getting a bit piss off with me because each time my stop was phone in and the big chief was saying "NOT HIM AGAIN"

Needless to say, I was not shot or sent to jail lol
For me rides like this makes the trip more interesting.
The whole border between China / North Korea is a river
So in most of the pictures, the other side of the river is NK.

I put this ride in the top 3 to do in China.

When you consider 99.9% of western people only visit Dandong

You will see in some of the pictures some bridge in place and some which were destroyed during the war.

Well that it for China, I did my bit to help Bob out with his new Video picture show.
