Forum Runner with iPhone 4

Hi all

Does anybody else use Forum Runner with an an iPhone? I am having a big issue with it

Basically I paid the money so I could access RideAsia from my phone. Each time I open it up I have TTto do a search for the forum. There is no saved favorites like there is in Tapatalk

Also as I type this I see four lines of text then the cursor disappears and I am writing blind. If there are any spelling mistakes blame the app

I think I want my money back as it looks to be very undeveloped

Any ideas? I have rechecked the settings and cannot see anything to fix this, but I could be dumb

TravellingStrom, have you checked out this thread here on RideAsia ? As you will see in the screenshot there, i had saved the forum to my favourites.

First you need to ensure settings are set to on for home screen favourites, you then login and then top right of the screen you click the arrow and add to favourites.

i haven't had any issues with text / line spacing as you mention. I would be interested to see a screen shot if you could capture that for me

FYI Capturing a screenshot on an iphone is done by holding the home button and the top on/off button very briefly at the same time. You will hear the sound of a photo being taken and it will be stored in your photos.

On a closer look, whilst using Forum Runner to reply here, i can imagine where you possibly seeing a single row of text when making a new thread, that would be the Title field of the new thread. If you reply to an existing thread, you don't see that field.

As you can see in the image i snapped from my ipad, the keyboard has the word "Next" instead on the "return" key. That allows you to actually jump from the Title to the Body of the post you are creating.

Just downloaded this app and first impressions are that it's really slick. Looks really easy to create a thread with pictures on the go with your iPhone.

Great tip with the screen shot Ally, didn't realize this.

Ok I guess I just needed to get familiar with a new App. With Tapatalk it automatically adds a subscribed forum to a separate tab called ME. I have now added the forum to the home screen favorites.

As far as the unseen writing is concerned I cannot say what has happened. I showed Phil the problem the other day and I also showed Gary last night the ghost writing effect after line four but since I added the app to favorites it is behaving normally

I will try and remove it and see if it plays up again
