amazing documentary about the region, about the big chinese casino in Laos, drugs, mafia and guerrilla in the golden triangle area.
A lot of well known places and people in this documentary. There is a full interview in loi taleng and in the Waa HQ as well.
It's in french but it's still really worth watching even if you don't understand everything, especially the last part about the shan state (starts around 57min):
