Finally had to bench my trusty although slow Asus Eee Pc and after a long wait Chuwi finally got around to launching the new Chuwi Hi book Pro model, got this from banggood.com pretty fast delivery and no import tax which makes a nice change and costing just over 7000 baht for the tablet and 1700 baht for the keyboard i wont cry too much if i dunk it in a river or two. Runs on full Windows 10 or Android, all in all pretty good value for travelling.

Pretty detailed video review here.

Bob, how do you like the Chuwi after some months of actual use?
Did you get the HiBook with the 2560*1600 screen?

Marcel yes I did very nice display for its size, overall very happy with only small gripes it only has a type c USB post which also doubles as the charging port and the standard usb ports in the magnetic keyboard will not power up an external hard drive but its no big deal.

I have found its very weak at picking up wifi but I fixed that by adding a usb extender, its had plenty of knocks whilst dirt riding and still works good.
