Last minute discussion over some beers we decided to take a ride around Chiang Saen with Craig and his girlfriend who had stopped by from Chaing Mai and since the temperatures had taken a welcome dip i couldn't think of a better place to ride.

This development is a bit of a mystery, a lot of money has been poured into making this some sort of stopover attraction, with toilets and showers but its never been open.

The temperature has dropped a bit here in Chiang Mai Bob but maybe not as much as in Chiang Rai, looks like it was a great ride
 
Great and an enjoyable day riding.
super impressed with the BMW 310 and the lady who was riding.
