As stated above "treat", you can bargain rooms low season for around 4,000 Bht, expensive but superb for a special occasion

We tried the Huan Chiang Dao Resort recently. Found the welcome by Joachim very pleasant and the resort is very nice.
In a very pretty garden setting are the 8 wooden bungalows with 16 bedrooms and a swimming pool.
We booked a night via booking.com for 1300 baht per room including (a very nice) breakfast.

We were travelling with another Dutch couple and the 4 of us had a very nice dinner at the resort.
