I have a friend in Kanchanaburi who has a R1200C that is playing up and needs to be taken to a BMW dealer in Bangkok.

Does anyone know if either of the dealers there will come out to pick up a bike to fix it or does he have the problem of getting it there himself?
 
The cheapest way would to be to use a local who has a pickup or hire a red songtail, BMW would charge him a fortune.
 
yep get local with pickup 3-4k incl diesel some tie downs and bobs yer uncle , just dont take it to barcelona
 
The bike was taken to the dealer today, Bkk BMW replied to him giving a number of someone with a pickup in Bkk who drove over and picked the bike up for the sum of 2200 Baht.

That other shower of shite (Barcelona) didnt even bother replying to his email which was what he expected from them anyway, it seems nobody has a good word to say about them at any of their dealerships
