BMW F800GS or Kawasaki KLR650 Best?

I know a couple of you favor the Bavarian F800GS adventure motorcycle, while others argue the Kawasaki KLR 650 is superior. http://www.motorcycleusa.com has just posted a totally subjective look at both motorcycles and the conclusion of my associate Mr. Tim Bernard, who tested them with me.

They are pretty different animals from a price perspective.

Both bikes have significant limitations.

In the USA where KLR's can be bought relatively cheap it's a tough act to beat.
