I went for a spin up Doi Suthep road as I had my road wheels on.
When I got down I wanted to do it again, so up II went but it started hesitating, missing a beat, which was worrying going round corners between songthaews
Then it cut out completely before I was halfway up.
I had a total electrical failure
I checked (almost) all the connexions and fuses to no avail, so rolled all the way down to the zoo
Then I checked to find the battery lead was loose. so I got home ok

Once I got at the battery lead, it looks like this

The battery is less than a year old, so I dont know how it got to be like that

Looks like a bad contactto me and everytime there is a sudden load on the battery, you might get a spark which melts a tiny bit of the metal and you end up with a big hole in the end.

Certainly a loose connection, causing arcing around the terminal....

Least you fixed it on the side of the road.....

then i guess its my fault for not checking the connection regularly
I had a similar problem last week but I found the starter switch packed up,so I didnt check the battery
