Best foreign exchange rates (money changer) in Chiang Mai

This place has the look of that it's been around forever - S.K Money Changer. Located on the western side of the Ping River, just north of the old iron bridge. They have the most competitive exchange rates in town, for instance, only 0.2% of a spread between the bid and offer price (buy & sell) for Euro/ Thai Bht exchange & no commission.

Super Rcih in Loi kroh road is pretty good too.
Their cash rate is always higher than the bank TT rate for the AUD and all the others too i would presume.

Thai friend told me that SK is where the other money exchange places go to exchange their money. Best rates I've found in 3 years here

The have a sign inside "No travellers checks". It seems they re worried you'll cash them then call the travellers check issuer and say you've been robbed.

My wife has two sisters that live in Japan, and exchange Yen here when they visit.

They used to use S. K, but have switched to another place that offers a better rate.

It is next to the Chiang Mai Plaza Hotel, and is located inside the Thai Lanna Agriculture Company.
