Suvarnabhumi Airport - Fantastic restaurant


Ko Lanta Restaurant



At the end of a biking trip flying home & staying near Suvarnabhumi Airport, the night before departure? The Ko Lanta restaurant near the airport is pretty mindblowing. We're told at weekends it's jammed packed with Thai's, it must be the size of 6 football pitches and elegantly(???) designed like something out of Vegas!

Best breakfast in Bangkok


This is the best breakfast I have found in Bangkok - The Queen Vic Pub is good, but I think The Sportsman has got it beat.


Recently moved to Soi 13 off Sukhmvt, easy to find location

225 Bht gets you this truck load. Quality bacon, you can swap sausage for more bacon, comes with a pot of tea

They do a monster 335 Bht breakfast with black pudding, fried bread etc... too








..
 
I was sitting outside there last night Phil at Cheap Charlie's bar. Were you there then?
 
Arh ok, but I agree, bloody good restaurant. Can take your BeerLao from the bar over or have your food brought over to the table and chairs at the bar. The Moghul Room next door appears to be closed now but hopefully this restaurant will keep going.
 
That's one of my favourite Indian restaurants in BKK, there is another one near Soi Cowboy which is equally as good if i recall
 
Unfortunately this restaurant let me down tonight. I ordered a number of mutton dishes and then went back to drink at Cheap Charlie's. They pulled the old Thai trick of waiting 15 mins before coming out to tell me the mutton wasn't cooked and did I want to order chicken or seafood...

Ended up in The Punjab, on soi 13. Was OK.
