I headed out to Samoeng along the 1269, a road that most are very familiar with

Between Pa Lan and Mae Tung Ting there is still the unsurfaced section from N18.57.859 E098.42.462 to N18.57.944 E098.41.835 otherwise it was all asphalt today

These chickens seemed happier on the road than in their garden, still not much traffic to bother them

I notice a house that features face brickwork so I stop to look at this unusual building, a Japanese man lives here and explains its for students and was donated by Japan

Unfortunately here my camera decided to jam and no amount of swearing and cursing would fix it so no more photos again and just an enjoyable ride along the rest of the 6033 back to the 5032 where I ride back to CNX.
I find a shop selling Fujis only for them to tell me the service centre is in Bangkok much to my annoyance, once back in my room I try it again and now it
appears to be working.
The holiday jinx has struck again

I head out to Brownies steak for the 83 Baht buffet at N18.48.439 E099.00.298

Colin-

We did that area last week and i think R 6033 is actually a combination of R 1349 & R 4021. There were the white road tomb stones with those route numbers on them. Auke's looking into it to see if this is actually the case. See the map below to see what i mean:

Phil there seems to be a bit of confusion out there as the map says one number whereas the gps and the road markers dont always tally, a great ride all the same though whatever the road number
