Confirmed.

This bike will be on show at Yamaha Chiang Mai on the evening of Saturday March 8th.
On that morning Yamaha will be holding a Yamaha Riders ride to Doi Inthanon.

The MT-09 will cost 435,000 baht.

More details following

That's a good price! Non-ABS I assume.

Is the 09 imported or assembled here?

I hope that doesn't mean the 07 is not coming...

Confirmed today at Yamaha Square, Chiang Mai.

Saturday 8th 8-30am at Yam Square will be a registration of 400 baht for a Yamaha Group ride to Doi Inthanon. (not with the MT-09!)
The fee includes food, park entrance and a T-shirt.

Awaiting confirmation of a possible Test Ride day of the MT-09 and their 'Bolt' 950.

(Whilst at Yam Square a rider arrived on his new 'Bolt' and said he was delighted with it, however he was experiencing a minor
vibration from the front end. He was having a pillion seat fitted to his bike).

I love the gold fork legs but I don't like the red tank... red is for girls... :)

The grey one is a bit bland but the black one with the blue rims - my favorite!

But I don't need 115 horses; the MT-07 would be enough for me - too bad that's not a triple!

Hey gold fork legs are for pimps. My PCX is red 'cos Thunderstorm Black with knife blades sticking out the 'bars and chrome wheels , straight through exhaust and radical cams were not available that week , but keep it to yerself Ron.

Theres a loas of concept sketched on the facebook group.. Slick looking street tracker concept.. hang on.

Just come from yamaha Sq. They say no mt09 test bike....only R1 and the cruiser?

^ But it's not wide where the knees go. :)

Love that black and blue, and the gold forks, of course.

Picture posted on Thai Superbike Magazine from the BKK Motor show.

Looks pretty cool.

Here's what is described as the Honda Cross Tourer

The Honda is probably their VFR1200X 'Crosstourer' Bob.
I've put a clip about it in the Honda section.

^ My guess is it's got the 800cc engine from the VFR.

As much as I like the MT-09 I don't care at all for the plastic treatment.

Looks like Buzz Lightyear.

Maybe in flat black it might be acceptable.

Interesting video with the MT-09 doing some dirt in places

Pop has ordered 20 that is incredible. With the amount of new big bikes available for rent in the north now, makes you wonder why you need to own when you can rent the latest at a good price. He will need a much bigger shed or cull some of the other brands.

Think it is the way to go as there are great choices available now
