Having passed through Kaleum last week and intrigued by my lack of information on what is going on over there with digging going on everywhere and tracks branching off in all kinds of direction probably all related to - Yes/No hydropower project or No/Yes Coal Mine - I did a bit of Googling to find some more info.
While searching around I found this little gem of a story An Engine Rebuild in Kaleum which seems to be part of a book with the title "A Short Ride in the Jungle: The Ho Chi Minh Trail by Motorcycle" by Antonia Bolingbroke-Kent
